Degenerate Poker Scumbags 1

So where do I start? Do I start by listing the degenerate poker scumbags I have come face to face with during my time in the poker industry? Do I list the worst Degenerate Poker Scumbag I have ever seen in my life? Do I bite my tongue and name absolutely no-one? Maybe I can group them, there are quite a few. There are scumbags in every industry of course so having them in the poker industry doesn't make poker "bad".

I guess I will categorize these merchants. Placing them in categories so that those that are unaware can be on the look out for them. They can watch for the different types of low life's they may face in their poker world both online and live. Let's start with the obvious which are the thieves!

I have been ripped off by a few people in the past. Not by necessarily loaning them money either. The rip offs come in all shapes and forms and they rip people off in all shapes and forms. They can appear to be rich or they can appear to be the common person who's suffering a rough patch. It happens to players of all levels, they all get ripped at one time or another. Sadly these rip off merchants are supposed friends or people offering a contract or business proposal which appears above board.

My advice is to never mix poker business with friendships for starters. Secondly, before signing into any contract be sure to look at the persons history and get good references about the way they have handled money with other poker industry members before proceeding with anything. Of course do not loan money or pay up front for a tourney you may be getting backed for either! I met the biggest Degenerate Poker Scumbag who is a rip off last year. He continues to save face and probably continues to rip people off too. A person who claimed innocence when he was as guilty as sin, certainly I know he is as guilty as sin as I sent warnings about him before he did the rip off scam of his life time to date. How could I have? I saw him rip people off in front of my eyes before he concocted this master plan. Had people come to me for a reference (knowing I had dealt with him) prior to dealing with this "thing" they could have saved a fair amount of cash.

Ok so rip off Degenerate Poker Scumbags are out of the way, next are the Degenerate Poker Scumbags who attempt to make fame after someone elses poker tragedy or major down swing or purely from someone elses back.

Take black Friday as an example. How many people in the world are totally guttered about this? How many people are so self centered and greedy they would use mockery of the destruction of peoples lives to gain popularity and attempt to get fame from it? Sadly, there are some out there. These people are usually live players who don't know the first fucking thing about online poker, nor the poker industry; you can tell as they make statements such as: U.S. players can not play anymore and what to do now there is no online poker. Anyone with half a clue knows there is still online poker for US players! These types of people are the worst for poker. When it comes to Degenerate Poker Scumbags.

These "Fame Hunters" are the people in poker that disgust me the most. They care not for the poker industry, they care not for their poker associates, they care not for their friends so if you are their friend re-think - don't think they do care for you! If they did, they certainly wouldn't be flaming you and your lifestyle, nor that of your other friends.

These "Fame Hunters" bring nothing to poker that is worthwhile except destruction for players of all levels, again; for their self centered means. Sadly for them they think they will be the next big talk show hit, radio star, TV presenter or poker celeb when in reality they are wasting their time and people are laughing in their faces thinking ....what a dick! To those out there mocking poker, poker players, the poker industry and poker online - you should go and join the plum noses. Be specifically cautious that these people do not use you as part of their fame hunting game. If you have any level of respect in the poker industry they will magnetize you and use you for all they can to gain the fame they believe they will one day have. If you are just a small time player, they will use the ass out of you to spread the word of their stupidity (I say stupidity as that's all it really amounts to).

Those people that stink, have poor hygiene, take illicit drugs, are always drunk, wear trash clothing and are the most hated person at a table as players just can't stand the scent they have wafting into thier nose nor the germs they place on the chips with their un manicured filthy nails and snot rubbed hands. Can be my 3rd and last Degenerate Poker Scumbag for the days post.

These people are very bad for poker's image and not only do people see them as degenerate, they smell them as degenerate and know they are nothing but a depressed failure who in reality should be wanted by the table as they are losers without a doubt. They certainly are not a good image for the industry though! They evident-ally don't sleep enough, sit for too long, don't care for them self and are obviously losing and then probably going to G.A to whine about it. I say they get a grip, get away and keep all their stenches, germs, misery, negativity and complaints to themselves. Don't come to me begging for cigarettes and asking for money after you leave a table. Go away already! Please don't feel sorry for these people! They are degenerate poker scumbags and have choices just like the rest of us and my friends - they alike other scumbags choose to live and be this way!

Poker Drugs Alcohol Sex Thugs

I am a quadruplet when it comes to these things - Poker, Drugs, Alcohol, and Sex. They are 4 big words that people seem to associate together making poker players look like thugs. I am not sure I am a thug though! Maybe many poker players are, maybe however those that indulge in all 4 things are simply normal human beings. Maybe all poker players secretly binge and crave for these things and possibly there are many poker players that do nothing but play poker. Certainly I am no angel though. I am not a demon either in saying that.

All of the biggest named poker players in the world have at least one of these things in their list of activities. Certainly they have poker, thats without question. Most of them also drink alcohol from what I have worked out and they no doubt have sex too. Even the women that look like saints in our industry have sex, I believe the proof is there in their off spring. A lot of our lady players and many of our male players have kids so sex also goes without saying. Does anyone really think there are players out there that do not do anything except play poker? They are all human, they all live lives. Some a little steamier then others, regardless even our senior citizens in poker "play up".

When it comes to drugs though we are thankfully leaving some players in the royal room. Drugs however is a wide word. What i mean is there are many types of drugs.

My quadruplet lifestyle of Poker Drugs and Alcohol isnt as bad as some players. My list includes the biggest killing drug: Cigarettes (eew - disgusting). Also the pharmaceutical medications I take for my anxiety and panic attacks on a daily basis one being valium. Add then my pain relief when needed which is pretty frequent. I pretty much quadruple drugs let alone poker drugs alcohol and sex which I guess is pretty bad. Does this make me look like an industry thug though?

In regard to the poker industry and outsiders, I care what people think. I do consider myself somewhat of a get up and go role model. I dont really care what other players think about me though, do you? Here's the thing when it comes to other poker players and getting your name out there - if they are thinking they are talking and if they are talking its good for me! As long as they are not telling lies like saying I am a bong head, a coke head or a crack whore it doesn't bother me. Even when they say these things its like water off a ducks back to me - most people know me well enough to know I condone drug use (thats sounding hypocritical but true - marijuana through to heroin, I dont care what "illegal drug" you take, dont offer it to me.



I have taken quite a few drugs in my past though. For anyone that doesnt know me so well I was a stoner and a half until I was about 25. All day, every day I smoked pot. I look back now and think of how much money and how many brain cells I wasted and cringe. Not sure why i did that other then it became habitual and was really pretty awesome to be smashed all day. The addiction went out the door as quick as Santa Claus though. I just woke one morning and said "The party is over" and never smoked that crap again. I have many friends that tug away, many who play poker, I simply ignore them as they smoke their joints or pipes and continue drinking my drink.

I have also taken speed (I drank it lol). I drank it before a trip to crown casino about 12 years ago (yes I have been around a lot longer then most of you Aussie's think when it comes to Crown Casino but thats another story). I didnt sleep all night and day, I drank more alcohol then I ever have in my life over the 36 hour period and I didnt feel dunk. I smashed about 7k over the black jack tables and about 8k right back at me. I danced, roamed the streets and partied in my crown towers room until my body was jumping in and out of consciousness. I wont do it again. The after effects are disgusting.

Anyway, enough about what I have done, i am not here to self confess myself as a crazy psycho drug ridden, drunken smoking poker player with a sex drive that would kill a nun if she found out. Mostly as that isnt true. I am trying to logically think if all poker players dabble, used to dabble or closet dabble and if the world thinks we are thugs. To look at the world beyond poker. To look at the people who do not play poker. I think we are pretty even. I think they can keep their traps shut if they want to tart mouthing and calling poker players thugs.

How many of you have seen little old ladies sitting pumping hundreds of dollars through a poker machine they are literally filling their life with as they drink wine and smoke a cigarette? Ha! Caught! Little old ladies against poker players, we are onto YOU!

How many people have seen young guys in suits drunk, smoking a cigarette and high on drugs about to hit the casino tables as they walk on in jamming coins in slot machines as they do their weekly wage? Business men you have been OUTED! ha!

How many people have seen our biggest celebrities playing up? (Thats self explanatory).

How many have seen average Joe's hit the TAB and sportsbetting on the weekend as they get drunk and have a fag (Aussie slang for cigarette) in their backyard by the bbq? CAUGHT!

Lastly, how many people have thought about what the queen of England does? She sure a hell had sex in her earlier days and sure as hell do all the princesses and princes and the president and the politicians. All of you are outed. Your all bad for a reason. I am sure you all "sip champagne or scotch" I am sure you all pop a pill when your head hurts and I am sure you have all gambled on a game which is less likely to make you money then poker would.

In summary -

Dear world full of people that think poker players are thugs. Please take a long hard look at yourself. You calling poker players thugs or thinking of them as drunks, and addicts that take drugs have sex, get pissed and gamble please know that you do also.

To the poker players that REALLY party hard and hit hard drugs and spend their entire life pissed. I will enjoy playing you when you are in that state and eliminating some chance of that in your old age by taking your coinage.

The Worst Poker Players Ever!

Negativity is always something I try to fend off but it keeps biting at my heels. Today i am in a negative mood and decided to write a post about the worst poker players ever and what makes them so bad. I can think of a few really bad poker players and for multiple reasons. I guess I have to look at what makes a bad poker player to determine the worst ones ever!

Bad poker players again can be bad for multiple reasons. They can represent the game and the industry poorly, they can be simply degenerate gamblers that just play to gamble, they can be players that invest money non stop into live or even online play and lose, they can be players that are one hit wonders that really have no take or idea on the game, simply got lucky and of course there are cheats which would in my mind make them the worst player ever simply by being one! I am sure there are more reasons for someone being the worst poker players ever but that's enough for now!

If i were to analytically go through each of these categories that make the worst poker players EVER, I could i guess number it down to a few hundred thousand players. I am sure some have cheated, some have just played for the hell of gambling, some are colossal losers (I know I am sometimes - not all the time thank goodness) and some just represent poker and the poker industry poorly.

Making my list into a few hundred thousand players simply isn't going to give me the nuts on the worst players ever. Sorry mum but you would be in that list as you do not even know what 2 pair is lol. To be fair on our well known players i can't be naming them either, most of them are good representatives of the game and are far from cheats or losers and naming any of them would be just plain wrong, especially when they are better players then I am!

I guess that leaves a riddle, who are the worst poker players ever? Is it even possible to name them? I think not! People play poker for fun, enjoyment, as children, at all levels. Poker players have the ability to learn and will learn the game for the rest of their lives.

There is no such thing as a worst poker player ever is what I think, I REPEAT "THINK"! They can cheat and it doesn't make them the worst, it just makes them down right horrible! They can be a colossal loser but there is always going to be someone who is a more colossal loser, they can represent the game badly but be champions, they can have a bad recorded day, month or year and come back to win a million dollars or they could be a casual drunk at pub poker. It doesn't make them the worst ever.

In summary of my thoughts today on the worst poker players ever, I can't name them, wouldn't name them and are not going to try. Of course you could disagree with me on any of the above and say there definitely is a group of worst players ever. I guess someone MUST fall under every category there is to make them bad! I sure have seen some shitty players that are rude, abrupt, smelly, stupid, drunk, and non stop losers. If you are one of them, I guess YOU are one of the worst players ever lol. I know I don't stink, which makes me not the worst of the worst for starters, I don't think i am stupid either nor always drunk when I play so I can safely say I am not one of them.

P.s. on the naming players, I do not need a lawsuit would be another reason why I simply wont! hehe
